Warp grid artifcating

So if you succeed to reproduce it, don't hesitate to share with us the project if it is possible with screenshot of fx parameters.

I would send you a screenshot of my FX parameters in 11.7.1 using Warp Grid , but the problem for me is that the Warp Grid does not work properly in version 11.7.1 (this was even after creating a fresh config). Not all the points show up on the grid in version 11.7.1.


Here it is in version 11.7 (all points on the grids are visible) -

But here is the problem in version 11.7.1 (only a few of the points are visible on the grid) -

I can send you my FX parameters for Warp Grid in version 11.7 to address the artifacting problem, but I hope this other problem can be fixed in 11.7.1 .

Thank you for your report with all screenshots. I succeed to reproduce the holes issue but also the handles of grid partially hidden. This last issue happens only on MacOS. I'm going to add these both issues in our issues database for further assessment.

Thank you. I hope it can be fixed soon. I need to use the Warp Grid for a project , but also want to take advantage of the new pivot point feature in the Keyframer (in v 11.7.1) on some of the same scenes I am using the Warp Grid for . At present if I want to use the Warp Grid I must save and close the project in 11.7.1 and then re-open the project in 11.7 .

Putting aside the artifacting problem (which has been around for years) , is the more recent problem with the points/handles on the Warp Grid being hidden (in MacOS version only) in 11.7.1 not something simple that can be fixed by restoring whatever line of code that got corrupted up in the update from version 11.7 to 11.7.1 ? Because the Warp Grid interface still worked correctly in version 11.7 (and 11.5.3 before that). So what happened from 11.7 to 11.7.1 that broke the Warp Grid interface ? Is it difficult to restore it ?

I noticed recently that another user reports the bug where the handles of the Warp Grid are partially hidden. You wrote: "this issue happens only on MacOS", but the user who reported the bug , TheInsaneum , is running TVPaint 11.7.1 on Windows 11 64bit . See here: viewtopic.php?p=131827#p131827

btw. this is another a minor bug I found so I might as well add it here instead of making a new thread about it but when using the Warp Grid FX only some of the red warping handles show up and when toggling preview off and on you get a new random selection of handles.
