Sliding keys over over keys Topic is solved
Sliding keys over over keys
Please excuse me for asking, as I used to know the answer to this but can't find it in past queries; how do you slide a key drawing in the timeline over another existing key. To be more clear, say I have keys on frames 1, 10, and 20, but now I want to slide key #20, to be before key #10. How is this done?

Thank you D.T.!
I was thinking that it was done by holding down a keyboard key while sliding the instance. Thank you for that!

D.T., I've tried following your video instructions, but it's not working. When I slide, say, key 20, to before key 10, and then click on the "Move and Overwrite Here" option, the red line simply pops off and key 20 stays where it was. What might I be doing incorrectly?

Do you have Lock Position on the layer enabled ? (the little hand icon). Disable Lock Position, then try sliding it. It should work.
