Re: macOS Monterey and TVPaint Animation 11 [UPDATE 07/12/2021]
Aha! Change size is the thing. I have been using Brush:Resize. That's obviously not the one, despite the fact that it seems like it should be. Thanks for the tip.
Otherwise, I am finding that the program works just great on Monterey right now, but then it suddenly crashes repeatedly. The fix is to restart the computer and that cleans things up and it works again for a good while, until it starts crashing again. So not sure why that is. I found this was happening on previous Mac OS as well, so it's not a Monterey thing.

A crashing mac is something I get about 4 times a year, at most, and never with TVP.
TVP 10.0.18 and 11.0 MacPro Quadcore 3GHz 16GB OS 10.6.8 Quicktime 7.6.6
TVP 11.0 and 11.7 MacPro 12core 3GHz 32GB OS 10.11 Quicktime 10.7.3
TVP 11.7 Mac Mini M2pro 32GB OS 13.5

Re: macOS Monterey and TVPaint Animation 11 [UPDATE 07/12/2021]
My Mac rarely crashes. I have to remember to restart it every so often because it does freshen things up, but this is TVP crashing on almost any key combo hit. Like CMD+S to save, and it crashes. Restarting TVP does not fix it, but restarting the Mac does. Is there some way to find out what could be causing this severe crashing to happen? As I say, not always, but when it starts to happen, the only fix is a system restart.

Without a specific ARM update, will TVPaint still work on the new M1 Macs anyway?

Re: macOS Monterey and TVPaint Animation 11 [UPDATE 07/12/2021]
The new M1 Macs can still run TVPaint.
The first Rosetta software, when Apple dropped the Power-PC architecture and went for Intel in 2006, lasted for ~4 years.
Rosetta 2 released with Big Sur in November 2020, so it's likely to assume that it will last for at least 2 years (yes, I know, we are talking about Apple, but still).
To answer your question, is an ARM update of the code is planned? Yes, but I don't think it's going to be this year.

Re: macOS Monterey and TVPaint Animation 11 [UPDATE 07/12/2021]
Hi everyone,
I recently installed TV Paint on my Mac (OS Monterey) and am unable to open TV Paint. I get this error message (please see attached). The license I am using is through the school I teach. The tech folks there tried to help, but to no avail. I downloaded the software under my user account and followed the instructions for installation, but am not able to open TV Paint. Am I downloading the software from the right account? I posted this question as a new one, titled "CmContainer Entry not found, error 200". I haven't received any responses, so I thought I would post here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Robert Domingo

Hello everyone,
Just so you know, TVPaint works fine with the macOS Monterey 12.3.1 update
P.S. I also replied to Robert Domingo's question on the other thread he had created here.
