Hi,
a small question:
Is there any way of making the timeline stop from skipping to a selected layer?
Thanks!

I don't get what you mean by that ...?A1 wrote:... making the timeline stop from skipping to a selected layer?
My bad!
i should have given some more info, so here it goes:
For example: if i have a certain layer selected, and i scroll up or down in the timeline to
adjust another layer: move the animation 2 frames to the left for example
without selecting that layer (and i don't just so that i find the (still selected)
layer that i'm animating on easily ), then i want to see what i did by using the arrow keys to flip the frames, the timeline jumps back to the selected layer.
So if i want to adjust the non selected layer one more frame i have to go look for it again. I almost always end up working with alot of layers, and it gets very hard to tell one from the other.
I hope the above is comprehensible. If not i'll try again

well, I think I've understood your point, but I hadn't a straightforward solution immediatly,
are you already using the layer color-gadgets to visually differentiate them ?
also, I'm thinking of a couple of CP buttons (via george scripts),
one to record (write) the currently selected Layer ID,
the other to select ( read & go to) the last written layer ID,
but I'm not sure it will be a great benefit...
have to think about it a little more ...
Meanwhile, have a good time and merry Xmas to you.
