button for changing pixels to a specific color

Post by Peter Wassink »

Using the tools in the sketchpanel you can change all current pixels into a specific color.
it makes use of the pixelmatrix command
https://wiki.tvpaint.com/index.php?title=Tv_PixelMatrix
As a default the sketchpanel only offers a limited number of colors.
It is possible to make it output other colors but the formula is not very intuitive though.

i am looking for ways to change pixels to a custom color via a command/custom action. (so a 1 click solution rather then the normal way of alpha lock and painting all frames manually)

the tv_pixelmatrix is too complex (for me :P ) to set this up for different colors
does anyone have a suggestion, could also be another command?

Here you can find a script which does this by Svengali (changing the content of the frame to your selected color).
But this is such an obvious feature, that I can't understand why it wouldn't been added years ago.
