Adding Grunge/Texture with a brush

Post by oscar »

I stumbled upon this Tutorial for photoshop recently:
https://design.tutsplus.com/articles/di ... -cms-23350
And I wondered if the same effect could be achieved in TVPaint? I didn't have any luck with messing around with the preset brushes. And since i want to animate the textures in volume, adding photo textures doesn't work...

I use that all the time. Best result from some ral life brushes, like a sponge dipped in paint and stamped on rough paper. Scan in, unse scan cleaner, separate the stamps and make a nice AnimBrush from that. Set frame and rotation to random.
