Jagged lines in TVpaint11

Post by ChristopherC »

I'm getting jagged lines when drawing in TVPaint 11 (latest version) and can't seem to find a fix. Tried updating both Wacom drivers and OSX and the problem is still happening

The problem does not come up in any other drawing program, including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Mischief, CSPaint.

Any fix or workaround would be greatly appreciated, it's been bothering me for months now and with projects coming up i'd like to get this sorted out.

Have you gone to preference, go to Tablet and select 'SubPixel'?

I have experienced the same problem.

A possible solution would be to use the 32bit version of TVPaint as discussed here:
http://forum.tvpaint.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=10748

It seems the 32bit TVPaint has it's own limitations, e.g. no retina support and will be discontinued by Apple in the future.

To be fair other applications have the same problem (Krita, Blender).
Also I don't think it is related to a specific drawing device.

Best regards,
Velichko
