Unproportional (uniform) scaling

Post by Agris »

Hey,

I'm looking for a way to do uniform scale. Currently CTRL+T (transform tool) allows only for proportional scale. I use Standard version, which doesn't have Warp tool.

My use case when I really want this tool is - making a very subtle squash and stretch, when It's really not worth spending time redrawing whole thing.

To illustrate my wish clearer I attached a gif how it's done in Animate CC app.

Although you don't have the 'warp' sub-option (within the transform button's menu), you can use the 'perspective' transform tool. In that tool, if you hold shift and click one of the square handles on a long side (not corner), you can isolate the transformation along that axis.

Hey, the answer was that simple! Perspective transform works really good.
Thanks!
