Re: Various stuff made with TVPaint
Because Vimeo changed its embedding code, I think it now needs HTML5, not Flash.

It is the same for me with Vimeo. I can't watch the embedded video here on the forum, I have to click through to Vimeo to watch it.
I am also on Mac, using Firefox (it is the same with Safari and Chrome .)

So I'm not alone. Can it be fixed in the forums?D.T. Nethery wrote: ↑29 Jan 2018, 02:22 It is the same for me with Vimeo. I can't watch the embedded video here on the forum, I have to click through to Vimeo to watch it.

I'm on a PC and can't watch anything anymore either. I've tried both with Chrome and FireFox and I'm just as much at a loss as Soom and don't know what do about it.

Re: Various stuff made with TVPaint
I think it might come from vimeo's change of their TOS. As I found out just recently, if I want to make my videos downloadable, I have to pay for my account. Maybe they set all free accounts to "not downloadable".

Re: Various stuff made with TVPaint
A TVPaint sighting :
Video on the making-of "Captain Underpants" (Dreamworks Animation) shows directing animator Rune Bennicke animating tests
of the characters with TVPaint (the final animation was CG model animation , but the early tests were hand drawn) .
https://youtu.be/Bq4OHDx1pZM?t=87
.
----------
(Question about another recent film: does anyone know if the hand drawn sequences in the new 'Paddington 2' movie were made with TVPaint ? Passion Pictures was the production studio for the hand drawn sequences.)

Woohoo ! That's something
I've heard that it was the case, but I don't if it's true.(Question about another recent film: does anyone know if the hand drawn sequences in the new 'Paddington 2' movie were made with TVPaint ? Passion Pictures was the production studio for the hand drawn sequences.)

Re: Various stuff made with TVPaint
Looks absolutely TVPaint'ish to me! not my favorite design style, but the film is very good, both story and how the animation works in it!

https://vimeo.com/251861786Testing TVPaint. First question i've been asked if this is rotoscoped. It's not, just i'm a professional painter who got to world of animation not so long ago though I always wanted to. For me personally, the idea to paint entire sequences "in time" seems a totally new dimension.

4th assignment at Sasha Dorogov’s animation school
Done in TVPaint.
Main task: we had to choose a famous character from any cartoon and make a complete scene where the character should walk, run and snake. It would be plus if the scene will be looks like a scene from corresponding movie.

What a remarkable effect. Reminds me of Bill Plympton a bit.D.T. Nethery wrote: ↑17 Mar 2018, 16:12 https://www.facebook.com/effectefreak/v ... 688333237/
