TV Paint 12 - Random Zoom no Camera

Post by onyinyeda »

ISSUE: My project is randomly zooming when played back.
ISSUE 2: TV Paint refuses to close (both 11 and 12)

I started this short animation project in July. I got some help with the BG from here for it!
Since I was experiencing issues with TV Paint UI (bugs i guess) I decided to shelve this until TV Paint fixed its bugs.
Now that TV Paint has updated, I decided to work on the project again.
I reopened it and now my animation is doing this weird zoom when you play it back.

You can see yourself - here is the file: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ljai7rp3 ... k5vsm&dl=0

Maybe it's a file setting but this NEVER happened before. Also if it makes a different I have both TV Paint 12 and TV Paint 11 on my PC. Should I remove 11? Does it somehow hinder the function of 12? IDK 🤷‍♀️

This is what the file looks like when i was drawing it originally in July. When I playback in July it did not zoom in. It looked exactly as i drew it

When I play back now this. I do not know why it is zooming in like this when i play it back. There is no camera i think.

I attached my og file for reference in the OG post.

Hello onyinyeda,

there seems to be a camera in the file you shared, at least when I try with my copy of TVPaint, which is 11.7.3.

I can't see it in the screenshots, but maybe you have the 'Play with the Camera View' button on (located above the timeline). When off it plays with the project's dimensions.

I don't remember putting a camera! At least not for this piece! I did use it in a previous video I made!
So it is possible that the settings did not revert back to the default.

The "Show Camera" was on. And I turned it on when I made a video that required the camera. I didn't think i'd have to turn it off again.
THANK YOU SO MUCH JEREMY!

After this I think it's time I watch those tutorials on Youtube. 😭
Normally, I just work my way around software and figure it out but TV Paint is different.💀
