Hi All,
I'm trying to use TVPaint on an Ipad, by moving TVPaint from my MacBook Pro to the iPad, but TVPaint keeps crashing. These are the specs:
MacBook Pro: Memory 16GB, macOS Ventura
Ipad: Version 16.6, iPad Pro (12.9-inch)(4th generation)
TVPaint: 11.7.1-64 bits
I'm also getting those jagged lines when drawing. I've attached the image showing the jagged lines and the settings under the general tab.
Thank you for any help to solve these issues!
Robert

Re: TVPaint crashing on Ipad
Are you using Sidecar ? I've had good results using Astropad Studio, to draw in TVPaint on my iPad Pro.

Hello!
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I am using Sidecar. I'll have a try at Astropad Studio and report back.
Thanks,
Robert

Hello,
I'm happy to report that AstroPad works for me! Thank you so much for your help. The only thing that I'm trying to find out, is how to turn off that "Pink" streak that follows the stroke of the apple pencil? It's slightly distracting. Do you have the same function? Is there a way to turn it off - I don't know if it's the Macbook Pro, iPad function, or a setting in AstroPad.
Thanks,
Robert

Hello again,
I've figured it out! I found how to access the settings in AstroPad and turned off the stroke to none.
Thank you so much again for your help!

Re: TVPaint crashing on Ipad
I haven't been using the iPad (with Astropad) to draw in TVPaint very often , but now my Cintiq is in the shop for repairs (bad cable), so I'm trying to use Astropad again so I can draw with my iPad in TVPaint , but many times TVPaint will not take any input from the Apple Pencil. Sometimes it works, but often (too often) it does not. Quit and restart TVPaint plus quit and restart Astropad can fix it , but that's very annoying. I would like to blame it on Astropad , but TVPaint is the only app which has this problem Drawing in Photoshop or Sketchbook or Harmony works fine with Astropad.
