Hello!
Just wanted to say I really like the changes to the export settings ("Empty images", "Duplicated images", "Exposure cells"), so far tested it once and it works great as expected. For me this was an important change. So – Thank you!

Re: JSON export: Export All Images changed behaviour in 11.7? Set to No is unusable.
Hello Matthieu, thank you for the info and for wanting to make the JSON export clearer. Yes, if I understand their meaning correctly I think these 3 options cover it well! And the default options seem reasonable to me (I think that is exactly the settings I would use). I also wanted to put emphasis ...

Re: Is it possible to recover a corrupted file?
9.5 is not the latest version. 11.7.2 is. When you run software from 2009 on latest Windows you're kind of asking for problems :) Log in your account at tvpaint.com and download the current version. You should be able to open your file without a crash. As a backup I exported your project in PNGs (an...

Re: Is it possible to recover a corrupted file?
I also have a file that shuts down after loading, is it fixable? https://we.tl/t-gvgyA9a5UR I use TV Paint 9.5, windows 11 I was able to open your file in TVPaint 11.5.3. Its timeline looked like this: Screenshot 2023-12-08 204209.png I guess first try the same advice as in the post above – update ...

Re: JSON export: Export All Images changed behaviour in 11.7? Set to No is unusable.
After some more testing and reading I can be more specific about this problem – I think what I need is to be able to check both: Export All Images AND Ignore Duplicate Images. Because obviously the AE import script fails reconstructing empty instances when it doesn't have an empty PNG for them (I wa...

Re: JSON script won't work in After Effect 2023
This might be a stretch but worth trying: sometimes when JSON import does nothing in AE and I just do Window - Workspace - Reset "Standard" to saved layout - it magically starts working for me.

JSON export: Export All Images changed behaviour in 11.7? Set to No is unusable.
Hello, I have a curious problem that we discovered after updating my colleague's TVP Standard to version 11.7.2. (to get the important feature of being notified when some layer has a space in its name which causes errors later in the AE import). I think the behaviour of the checkbox "Export All...

Typo in JSON import script reconstructing POST/PRE loops
Hello! I was just JSON-importing animation with some loops set via POST behaviour into After Effects and got error message: "Error: property or method named 'tend' in Class 'global' is missing or does not exist. (...)" The whole expression was: lastkeyduration = 2; epsilon = 0.001; tval = ...

Re: Move the pivot point of light table
+1 Sorry if there is a conclusion to this somewhere else, I didn't see it. I read this would be too difficult to develop but I don't understand why. I can imagine it could work like a temporary shift of this pivot just for immediate transformation like this: 1) You move the pivot of the "out of...

After Effects JSON importer creates wrong timing of some layers
Hello! I've been having this problem for a while now. Tried to solve it by updating TVPaint, but the behaviour is still the same. This is my process: 1. I Export structure of my project using JSON from TVPaint (v 11.5.3 - 64 bits): This is the original visual: https://i.ibb.co/3vhb2Kq/2022-09-19-TVP...

Re: Quicktime export option missing in TVP 11 Pro
Cardin Collins: No. The system missing the .MOV(Quicktime) option is TVP 11 Pro 11.0.8. (There is just the .MOV(FFmpeg) option but that's not what I want.) Again the only difference I know of is that it's the Pro version but could be coincidence and there might be something else I'm missing. I just ...
