Re: Mac 64bit comments
Sorry to hear the renaming caused you this trouble... Agree on not deleting the 32 bit version yet. Probably the idea for the solution is now travelling through the infinite space at a very high speed. Paints a beautiful picture :) It seems that the problem has something to do with macbook pro. Work...

Re: Mac 64bit comments
The problem was never reported with the 32 bits version. Anyway, you can install both versions (32 and 64) at the same time, and test it for yourself. Nerver had a problem working with 32 bit version indeed. Tip if you would like to work with both versions: I added "_32bit" and "_64b...

Re: Mac 64bit comments
Hi Erik, If I am reading your message right you are telling me there is no other solution than to go back to the 32 bit version or work-around by drawing with all screens on 1 monitor? See also my previous post http://forum.tvpaint.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5945&start=15#p53177" onclick=...

Re: Mac 64bit comments
Mountain Lion will have to wait here... huhuh. Finally had some time to continue working and hope to give you some useful feedback: On the drawing delay: Normally, this bug happens only if the dashboard is above TVPaint Animation (that's why we advise to hide it, or reduce TVPaint's window, in order...

Re: Two of my biggest TVPaint frustrations
+1 to all 3 And I would like to add two more requests: 1) I would like to be able to import footage on a new layer on any given framenumber in the timeline where the playheadcursor is. Now the timeline cursor automatically jumps to the new layer startframe which is placed by default on frame 1 of th...

Re: Mac 64bit comments
Thanks for sharing! I was looking for a solution on the lost prefs: never would have guessed there would be a difference in how to quit the application. After using 'file-quit' TVPAP remembers the projects prefs indeed. An other thing I encountered after updating TVPAP 10 32 bit to 64 bit (and not c...

Re: "your disk may be too full, no such file or directory"
Hi Charlie, As Herve is asking: it is best to put the tempfile on a seperate disk. I presume you are working with OS X 10.4 or 10.5? If so and moving the tempfile does not solve your problem: I had the same issue of this [quote="CharlieC"]"your disk may be too full, no such file or di...

Re: Exporting sequence with alpha channels
On AE and QT alpha: exchanging animationfiles with an other company, I used tiff sequences with alpha instead. They told me the AE-version before the latest one has a 'known bug': QT alpha is not recognised. On QT alpha in TVPAP 10: I would like to import movies with alpha (camera views of a layerd ...

"Were do you get these .bin and .data files from ?" Wel I downloaded the link given earlier in this thread (on an iMac OS X 5.8 ) so it could be the OSses unzipper then. Downloaded the file onto the MacPro (OS X 6.8 ) There it showed the .tvpx file. Still it would not install properly: it ...

Q on Export to 2K, Prores 444
Dear team, For the material I am working on now it is required to export in 2k, Prores 444 codec and we are looking for a way to do that on my computer if possible for I will be able to animate on original footage that way. Re: Change project start frame
"I thought you were trying to change the parameters of the Start Frame custom panel ." Thanks. Sorry, I was not very specific indeed: I 'll try again to explain myself more clearly. Importing the Hervé panel: it will not open when I import it. But then it is no problem to make a custom pan...
