NB. I had also turned off frame 0 in the Light Table Panel...this seems to turn off the light table, which makes sense.

It was set to image mark... I switched it to instance and it worked. Thankyou for the assist.

Yes I've toggled the lighttable icon to no avail. it goes from a small black circle to a larger yellow one.

Unfortunately, Surface Pro is mail order only, at least in Australia. Guess I'll just have to wait a little longer and see if the drivers are fixed...from what I've read, Microsoft seems to have prevented users from installing generic wacom drivers.

I was all set to buy a surface pro and then I heard about the pressure sensitivity issues in Photoshop and other software. Is anyone using a surface pro? The custombrush preview doesn't show up in the tool:custombrush preview pane...the one above all the brush settings.It just shows a default grey panel.
On the plus side I love being able to use tvpaint on my phone for quick sketches.

The Custom Brush preview is not working in the brush panel or as a brush tip. To see the custom brush you have to paint a stroke.

You just can't use TVP's videocapture interface. simply record a video clip and then transfer it into an accessable folder.Then use tvp to open the video file onto a layer in your project. speaking as a long time tablet user, I hate having a dongle. I'd much prefer a cpu locked version so I didn't need to constantly worry about where the dongle was. Or if we have to have a dongle, how about the smaller ones which sit almost flush, so at least we could tape it in place and forget about...

Good to get the reassurance. The SSD drive setup is working as well as I'd hoped. Everything is running considerably faster, and when I back up my projects I can copy the various bins across into my project folder.

Just saw this post. I'd love to have project based bins as an easy method of asset storage.
But I think they should be saved as part of the project file or under the project file location for easy backup.
