youngmonkey plugins
First... greetings to all my TVPaint/Mirage/Aura friends. It's probably been too long since I poked my nose in here. I've continued to use TVPaint all along, I just kept quiet about it. :-) Some of you will remember me as the maker of a lot of plugins, you can view a bunch of them here: http://www.y...

Re: Dragable Mixer Picture
This'll be the last from me on this topic... Once again, incorrect information... here's is my original email with offer to Paul after I got Picture Palette working... "I started working on Backup for you, but encountered an issue I haven’t had a moment to get back to. PP was finished though so...

Re: Dragable Mixer Picture
For the record... As far as I know, everyone that has purchased our TVPaint plugins has received them and has them functioning. If not, then either we never received the emails from the customer or they never received our download emails. Spam filtering is often the culprit. We sell more product for...

Re: Can palettes be locked?
The TVPaint group, as well as NewTek in their involvement days, have always been supportive of our (and the few other's) efforts to develop for their product(s). We develop stable, reliable, creative plugins, often with unique ideas.. but it's software, it can be easily copied. We, of course, prefer...

Re: A separate window for model sheets and/or sketching
We should have a new ToolBox release soon. We're waiting on some info from TVPaint to complete the update. Note that the automatic frame tracking function works as long as you don't use multiple exposures (frame repeats). Simply copying/pasting frames as you did before the repeat feature was added t...

Re: A separate window for model sheets and/or sketching
Regarding plugins. A software developer always has the option to decide to support the effort of it's third party developers and avoid copying their work. This is particularly important in small markets where a developer's efforts are discouraged by the inability to sell software due to it being obs...

Re: crop tool woes
I've been using the crop tool a lot tonight, or should I say trying to. It's horrible this way. It is no longer pixel accurate, it's really a crap shoot if you get something cropped to the pixel you intend. It used to snap to a pixel regardless of the zoom, it no longer does, and I'm forever croppin...

Re: reset crop toll and transform tool
I'm actually a little frustrated with the crop tool. I don't know when it changed (after Mirage?), but it used to be that you could use the mouse buttons to size and position the crop area, without having to click on the tiny little sizing boxes. The old method was much faster to use. Maybe there's ...

Re: Original Animator Toolbar
Thanks for the idea Klaus, we'll have a look at this functionality as we start to delve back in.Klaus Hoefs wrote:some suggestions for the Picture Palette:
- to load small clips
- to arrange a named set of pictures (and maybe small clips) which is available for fast grab via a custom-built stack-list.

Re: Original Animator Toolbar
Thanks for your interest in our plugins. Although we have not been very active in the Aura/Mirage community for awhile, this was not by our choice. We were essentially banned from the Mirage community and our ideas were copied by people who seemingly put their own interests ahead of the users. We tr...
