Re: How to compile scenes into a short film?
OK, I assume it's a longer project, 5 min or 10 min at least? Well, in the olden days we had an intern in the studio who was sentenced to edit the audio scene by scene... and today it's the same, only I have to do it myself. No matter which animation software, each scene given out to an animator co...

Re: How to compile scenes into a short film?
That's all good and all, I will professionally put it in an external third party editing software (the anamatic), but how will you sync the audio with the anamatic's picture IN tvpaint? Like I said, lip syncing and etc on a specific part of the audio of the anamatic So how will I do this? I use a De...

How to compile scenes into a short film?
Tvpaint lags alot when things are on 1s, both skrubbing and playback, so the procedure that I used, was to get all the frames of the animatic that need to be animated, into another new seperate project, and then animate that then export it and import it back into the anamatic file, optop of the resp...

Re: How to create a symbol?
Will you please first try what I wrote? It does exactly what you want. TVPaint is a different software from the one using "symbols", so get yourself aquainted with new or different concepts of workflow. Yes, i will, and i will provide results as well in a gif format, one second. EDIT: by ...

Re: How to create a symbol?
I don't think you understood, i wanted the color AND the line art layers to be tweened for that particular motion not only the line art layer Unless, i can merge the frames of both the layers but without merging the layers themselves Apply the KeyFramer FX to the line art layer, then without closin...

Re: How to create a symbol?
1. Put the 4 frames into a separate layer. 2. Open Keyframer FX, go to Render tab. Choose that new layer as source, set post behaviour to Repeat/Loop. 3. Create an empty layer as long as you need it. 4. Go to Position tab. Create a key at the first position (just press the first C button). Go to en...

How to create a symbol?
Alright, let me explain what i'm trying to achieve here is the character looping animation: http://i.imgur.com/MYZVdPE.jpg (Ignore the sketch layer behind it) the character's hair and hoodie are moving up and down in the loop Now here's the tricky part: You see, i have 2 layers, one line art (the lo...

Re: Fade in affect?
Oops! Sorry about that... I've never posted an FX.bin file before and didn't think about including instructions on how to get it working - my bad. Anyway, hope the FadeIn-FadeOut FX helps. I keep a separate TVPaint application subfolder called FxBin for all the FX files I create. But it is a...

Re: Fade in affect?
Here's my universal FadeIn-FadeOut.bin file. To use it, simply load it in FX Stack / Multiple FX and check either of the two effects: FadeIn8 or FadeOut8. The default size is 8 frames, but either can be positioned and stretched to any frame count. The Speed Profile curve can be adjusted to weight t...

Re: Fade in affect?
If there's a fade in and out affect, is it in the FX stack? and on what extent is it customize able? Yes. FX Stack > Transition > Fade . It can be any length that you want and you can keyframe the percentage of fade (transparency) over the length of the fade , so yes, it can be customized. https://...
