AH!!!!
ok. so it was my method that wasn't working. I opened the folder window... click on tvpaint - had the 2 windows side by side and without clicking on the folder (to NOT deactivate TVP), I dragged the file in.
BOOM! you are a genius. Thanks so much!!!

Silly question... I should have known. I totally understand.
Cool. Thank you.
I haven't really tested the coloring yet.... bit im heading over there.
I did see a video today when I was researching painting - something called lazybrush. Looks pretty neat.

Re: Xsheet - entering frames? Animo?
I responded before and I dont see my post. Yikes. Anyhow ... hopefully this one posts. I subcontract oit background artists who only have photshop... so they do a rough sketch.. I animate ontop... they clean and paint it. I then replace the rough.
Is that a strange technique?

Re: Xsheet - entering frames? Animo?
Hey Paul, I completely understand. Thats the way I work as well, but im wondering if TVPaint has that same functionality of replacing or updating an imported image. Do you know of a way to do that same concept in TVP?

Re: Xsheet - entering frames? Animo?
Hi all,
Is there a way to import a jpg, then update / replace that same jpg later? For example, i put a rough background sketch in and later i want to replace it with the colored / clean version???
Thanks,
Johnnyg

Re: Xsheet - entering frames? Animo?
Thanks Soom. Yeah, im still exploring and everyone has been so helpful. Change is so hard sometimes, but necessary. I can see how TVPaint can speed up production, but I just need to figure out my flow from my years of old school style productions.
