Temporary Licence
I sold my computer and just installed TVPaint on another system so I can work. For whatever reason, I was not given a temporary licence to work with whileI wait for the unlock code. This has happened to me before and I am wondering if there is something I missed or some step I did wrong which result...

Re: rotoscope critique/aesthetics
Unfortunately, I am not sure I understand what you are saying, and I can not convince you of those things. I think I can convince you, though, that Beowulf and Final Fantasy , and even Ralph Bakshi, while none a great success, all do have their following and loyal fans, so someone must like it. I, m...

Re: Hi There
Almost any webhost today will give you many terabytes of bandwidth on their most basic plan, for less than $10 per month, or they are not being competitive. There is actually no value whatsoever to the creator of intellectual property to post their work on those content portals. I mean any of them !...

Re: rotoscope critique/aesthetics
I don't see why it matters what you call it as long as you like it. If it's not art, that's fine as long as you like it. Those who don't like it, why you want to take it away from those who do? ...the recent Beowulf movie -- why did it need to be motion-capured CG? Why can't it be motion captured CG...

Re: Mirage owner status?
Thou, things are changing in the technology field...with major advancements. Software also can not stand still...and TVP needs to look at supporting 64 bit, Multi core processors, Vista, the 64 bit Mac, etc...this will just help to expand functionalities...and abilites. Even a new cheap laptop has ...

While working at a movie studio, a friend there got a Canon HV20 and so we hooked it up to a Glidecam (steadycam) rig and did some tests shots in cinematic style using the 24P mode. We did shots going up stairs and down, trucking around the subject and following the walking subject. Some of the stuf...

Unlock Code
I had to format my drive recently and reinstall everything. TVPaint, upon reinstalling, didn't give me 15 days of operation. It just wants my unlock code. I registered via the website but have yet to receive an email. Unfortunately, this means I can't work. If there's anyway to speed up the registra...

The Wav file is large and I don't think I can post it here. Still, here's what I found out. I made the wave file at both 16/44 and 16/48. It doesn't matter which one load, it has the pop at the beginning. But the 44 Khz wav file sounds correct after that. The 48 Khz wav file sounds distorted an &quo...

TVPaint 44 Khz audio?
Is TVPaint loading audio at 44 Khz? NO matter what I do it seems when I load in a sound file I can hear a pronounced distortion compared to the original. It also puts a loud pop at the beginning. I can only equate the distortion to something I encountered in the past with DV audio (48 Khz) being use...
