When you use a stencil and have a lighter color on the stencil layer and add a darker on another layer there will be an edge visible on the edge.
Is there a way to avoid that.

Re: clean workspace for animation
Hi,
I think I did choose the wrong word, sorry. Not the equipment.
I mean the interface in TVpaint. to just have the tools you need for animation. Hide tools etc to make it eaier to focus on animation.
Should you use a "room"?

Hi,
If you want to create a clean workspace focusing on the animation using pencil and lighttable, which is the best way to create such?
Or is it only there are a view option?

Re: import png with transparency
Hi,
Strange.
At first when it did not work the Alpha was set to "Guess". I thought TVpaint would see the ttransparency but it did not. So I had to set it to "PreMultiply".

Re: import png with transparency
Thanks for your answers. I did some testing. I use the same settings you have in CSP. I have done this many many times and it always worked. I tested to when importing into TVpaint to change "alpha" to PreMult. even if I got a warning window saying that this setting is not recommended for ...

HI,
When I import png there is no transparency even if there was when exporting it from Clip Studio Paint.
What could be the problem?

Re: copy part of image and paste into another image
Trying out this script in 11.7.1 pro.
It works but if I want to paste into a second image and press "Paste in Place" no paste are made but the image is added to the brush and when I try another time it works. Maybe something has to be changed in the code to keep it loaded in the clipboard?

Wow! That is great. Thanks Peter!
Just what I was looking for. And you can set the transparency value too.

Re: Current layer more visible
Thanks,
Yes, I use the solo-layer option ( but have another shortcut-key) but I was more thinking pf an option where the current layer stays 100 and all the others will show 50%.
I guess that´s not possible.

Current layer more visible
Some software has the option to dim all the layers besides the one you are currently working on.
Does TVpaint has something like that?

Re: mask layer below permanent
You have a great list there.
Have to read it all and I might find features I did not know of yet.
Hoping for the clipping mask feature.

Re: mask layer below permanent
Thanks,
Yes, clipping mask
Then I got that confirmed.
Yes it´s useful feature. In Clip Studio Paint you can have folders with clipping masks to so it could be used on groups etc.
Hope it will come in a future version.
