Hi,
the new Version won't open. I only get this message:
Everything is fine when I open 11.7.0.

High Resolution on Mac
Dear Forum, is there a way to use TV Paint on a mac in the native resolution? I found the link to the low resolution mode: https://www.reddit.com/r/MacOS/comments/qh2e3u/urgent_no_open_in_low_resolution_mode_in_monterey/ But I am not sure if this is supposed to solve my issue. When I am using TV Pai...

Re: Mac High resolution monitors not supported in 2019
Hi JeremyN, so is the current state considered a viable solution for the MacOS Dev Team? As the examples show the solution would be to enable the low resolution for TVP and then set the interface scale to 2 (Thats exactly what you do in the Windows Version btw.). It's, to my mind, far more convenien...

Re: Mac High resolution monitors not supported in 2019
Hi JeremyN, It's, to my mind, far more convenient (and clear) for selecting a screen definition. For me, Apple settings (like "more space") means nothing so I always use the "default" setting and use the workaround described above to change the screen definition. This way TVP ind...

Re: Mac High resolution monitors not supported in 2019
Hi jeremyN, i just noticed that all you interface, even the menu bar is much smaller than my interface, so it seems to be a MacOS setting. But even if i change the scale in system settings i do not get the result you have. Menu bar compared: screenshot-scaled.png Setting scale to 'More space' _ 2019...

Re: Mac High resolution monitors not supported in 2019
Hi JeremyN, what MacOS Version do you use (I'm on Mojave 10.14.3)? Your Photoshop Interface has half the size i use but the file is shown in the correct size in both cases. Thats the thing that is not working with TVPAint. Actually i don't mind the pixelated interface but the working file should be ...

Re: Mac High resolution monitors not supported in 2019
I made another screenshot. Photoshop and TVPAint are at a 100% zoom in Photoshop the file takes up 300x300 'physical' pixels in TVpaint 600x600 so you never get a crisp 100% view which uses the available pixels.

Re: Mac High resolution monitors not supported in 2019
Hello,
i set the interface scaling to 2 and ran the software in low resolution and in 'not low resolution'. The interface is scaled but that does not help anything. Can you post a screenshot of two apps side by side from your 5k iMac at work?

Re: Mac High resolution monitors not supported in 2019
Hello and thanks for your reply, i'm using an imac with the resolution of 5120x2880. I created a screenshot for you with TVP and Photoshop showing the same file at 100% zoom. TV Paint does not use the full resolution instead the whole interface including the file is pixelated. This is not the case w...

Mac High resolution monitors not supported in 2019
Hello, i am wondering if you are still updating TVPaint. It is very inconvenient that i have to use the windows version of the software as it is pretty useless on any recent and not so recent MacOS Device. So i'm wondering if you are planning on updating that anytime (soon). I love working with TVPa...

Input field basic math
It would be great if basic calculation would be possible in the input fields. In the grid settings for example i want to create a grid that is the same format as the video so i go width: 192 height: 108. As this is still very small i'd like to add 192*2 without doing the math.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: The entire user interface is pixellated on my 4K screen
I send back that cintiq pro 16 and am working with the cintiq from 2008, problem solved. But will there be a scalable ui in the future, on mac? I still cannot use the art pen rotation in this setup.

Re: Hot keys from PROJECT to Clip
Hello,
i have not found a shortcut for that but you can set up rooms in tvpaint they are like workspaces in the adobe world. You can have one room with the timeline tab and one with the project tab. You can switch with cmd + 1 / cmd + 3 etc.

Re: The entire user interface is pixellated on my 4K screen
It's kind of hard to show. So i created a 1920x1080px jpg in Ilustrator with a 960x540px black rectangle and opened it in TVP and Photoshop. The scaling in TVP defeats the purpose of the high resolution. i tried the open in low resolution option already, btw. Screen Shot 2018-03-09 at 16.30.18.png T...
