Re: Add in OLM Smoother and OLM Blur to TVPaint?
On the same topic regarding its possible integration in Blackmagic Fusion, here is a conversation on the 'steack under water' forum . The topic mentions a few papers on the Antialiasing technique by Intel , AMD and Nvidia Is also mentioned the FXAA plugin for After Effects (as David pointed it out) ...

Re: tv_savemode set to jpeg not taken into account when exporting
Thank you very much Hironori. I think I know where I misunderstood the tv_clipsavestructure command. By reading this in the documentation, under tv_clipsavestructure: The tv_savemode command may be called before this command to manage the file format options (added in 11.0.8) _ "png" _ &qu...

Re: Use of PNGs in After Effects
it could have other uses so more investigation must be conducted. An EXR file can be multilayered, it could possibly be used to export the equivalent of 3D render passes , where in one file we'll have our line layer, shadow layer, highlight layer and so on. The plugin ProEXR allows that in After Ef...

Re: tv_savemode set to jpeg not taken into account when exporting
Thank you Hironori, your script does export a jpg indeed, but if I replace tv_SaveDisplay by tv_clipsavestructure, it exports pngs. Based on what I tested, only tv_clipsavestructure seems to have an issue with tv_savemode. If instead of tv_clipsavestructure I put: tv_saveimage, tv_SaveDisplay or tv_...

Re: tv_version "username"
As an alternative you could maybe use tv_getpath ? tv_getpath home tv_warn RESULT tv_getpath home shows, on Windows: C:\Users\MyUsername\Documents on macOS: /Users/MyUsername on Linux: /home/MyUsername To have something like this (not tested): tv_getpath home user_directory = RESULT export_path = us...

Re: tv_savemode set to jpeg not taken into account when exporting
Thank you Thierry for your suggestion, unfortunately it's to no avail. It keeps ignoring tv_savemode "jpeg". That is what I tried: tv_reqfile "Where to save the files?" export_path = RESULT tv_Request "Choose format|png|jpeg" request_answer = RESULT IF request_answer ==...

Re: Display of the timeline as per project
Maybe just having the ability to switch from a horizontal to a vertical timeline with just a button (regardless of if it can be stored in the project), would be a nice little addition to the standard version. We do see notion of spaces depending of where you are in the process of editing, for exampl...

tv_savemode set to jpeg not taken into account when exporting
I am trying to use tv_savemode in a tv_request (with the choice between png and jpg), but it seems that tv_savemode "jpeg" is simply ignored. Even if I select jpeg I end up with pngs. What am I missing? Here is what I would like: tv_Request "Choose format|png|jpeg" IF RESULT == 1...

Thank you.
Chris Zwar, who I quoted in the first post of this topic, came back on the subject in a video about the benchmark he did regarding png performances in After Effects.

Display of the timeline as per project

Re: reduce line width on artwork
To accompany slowtiger's answer, here is an example using the Erode effect (under Stylize in the FX stack panel)
Changing the height setting too much might change the look of the brush you are using.
