...I am a fine artist, illustrator, breaking into animation and am a very new newbie to it. Also, I know I am not eligible for this great offer, since I am only just beginning to work with the TVP trial version and am very new to the forums. But What I need to know, if you can help me, is will I be...

Re: TVPAINT ANIMATION 10 : Pre-order now !
I would like to see it this way: TVP is the software I am working every day with, I am doing my own projects, teaching with TVP, and some commercials, trailer and clips (if I got the time). So it is about 1,10 Euros per day/anno and not taking the 10.x updates (for 9.x they were free !) in account....

Yay, no more messing with QuickTime. And for Mac users, we'll now have Export remember our preferred settings right? Kudos for building a movie format internal to TVPaint.Fabrice wrote:nb : if you load an animation in a .xxx format, the save button will save using the new internal .AVI format.

I thought for sure the folks on Windows had the feature.
So it's an all platforms request

Re: brushes with drag pattern that stretches over the drag
Thanks Peter, really appreciated. I'll play around with them.
It is hard to get the brushes in TVPaint to drag in a smooth, evolving morph over time, but they do loop the brush pattern really well.

Mac scroll bars respond to mouse roller ball
This request is Macintosh specific: it would be great if the horizontal and vertical scroll bars on the Timeline could be scrolled with the roller ball on the mouse, rather than having to click and drag.
Not urgent but it would be nice.
Thanks,
Sharon

test button on Preview Settings
This quote is from the manual, chapter 4 pg15.You can use the test button to determine the data transfer rate of your temp drive.
I don't see a test button in my Preview Settings. Anyone know if it's still around and if so where it is?
Thanks,

Re: Open frame in new window
I contacted dhomas directly and he says the Mac market for TVP is extremely small.
Let's get some more users on board and then ask him to program something for us.

I haven't gotten around to script writing yet (still somewhat of a newbie), but that's a good idea, thanks.

Open frame in new window
I recently posted a tech support question asking about viewing a frame or image in a new window. Paul mentioned that I could do this by modifying the project and keeping both windows open. A simpler solution (and perhaps less confusing) might be to have something like: "Open image in New Window...

Re: view more than 1 frame from the same clip
Actually what I mean is can I open 2 preview windows for the 2 different frames at the same time?
In effect, like a new zoom window but for a different frame.

view more than 1 frame from the same clip
I'd like to view frame image B from a different layer in the same clip while working on current frame A. Is there anyway to view more than 1 frame from the same clip at the same time?
Thanks,
Sharon
