I also replied in the post you mentioned here. I am still not able to select the 1080 signal from the drop down.. I am using other directshow applications and I am able to see the signal at 1080i 59.94 for the BlackMagic format. Any ideas whats going on?

Also, the Canon 7D does in fact capture and output 1080i video simultaneously.
