clipping masks in tv paint
quick question. Do layers in tv paint have clipping masks? And by clipping mask I mean the feature found in photoshop in which information will be constrained to an already existing image. for example if i make a brush stroke, then want to put another brush stroke over it, but do not want to change ...

exporting avi with alpha channel
hey im trying to export animation footage and when I export it at RGBA to an avi, it seems like its saving the alpha channel but when I bring it into after effects the layers arent alpha'ed and theres this weird black shape where the alpha should be. any ideas why this is happening?

change settings on a preset brush
I'm having trouble getting the settings of a standard pencil in tvpaint to save its settings so that when I go to a different tool and back to the pencil, it remains the same size and color I had already defined. specifically, I have key "B" set to pencil #6, and even though i've tried edi...

Re: flipping hot key?
thanks yeah i tried the preview flip but i wanted a key specifically for the flipper tool so that I would not have to click the mouse at all while flipping. For example, if I had "f" set to flip, if i held "f" down, I would be able to flip through the animation just as normal pap...

Re: edit multiple frames?
another multiple frames question! lets say I need to add say ~5 blank frames in front of a sequence. However, I have multiple layers in the composition, and I want the images in each layer to stay in sequence (each layer relates to the other, and I want to add frames in front of all of the layers wh...

Re: edit multiple frames?
thanks so much for the response! I'm wondering how I would do the same (edit multiple frames) with adding parts of a drawing to a sequence. for example, in a storyboard I have a mouth that doesnt move over three frames, and I want to draw the mouth for all three frames on only one frame, and have it...

flipping hot key?
Hi I'm wondering if theres a way to set a keyboard command to allow me to flip between drawings such as when I'm holding down the hand button on the remote control. I've been able to make it preview, (I think it's called something like flipbook preview) but it only plays frames forward. I'm looking ...
