Virtual keyboard doesn't register completely in Ubuntu
I'm on ubuntu 14.04 using tvpaint and because of the dongle I lose a USB port that I normally use for my keyboard. I have NO free USB ports left. Plenty of programs let me use the "ONBOARD" keyboard in such a case ,but tvpaint only accepts random keys, not the whole keyboard. For example th...

Re: extend shorcut possibilities (pan, zoom, hover click..)
Thank you for your interesting feedback, we will have a look on this :) thank you,I hope something comes of it..? I finally installed my new tvp version on linux and so far it works. But those shortcuts and not having hoverclick is still an issue And I do hope MMB and RMB re-appear in the shorcut l...

Possible bug - point cursor
When I work in windows I always use the point cursor. Now that I installed TVP in linux (ubuntu 12.04 )I would like to do the same. But the cursor shows as a big black circle, and doesn't change in size in any way. This seems like a bug to me,is this known? As it's my first time reporting a bug,how o...

Re: Hotkey Configuration - Alt key change?
Anyway, we've added in our "to do list" the possibility to assign "rotation" and "move canvas" to another key. So Alt would be always assign to the features above (and could not be changed), but you could anyway assign another key to move or rotate canvas :) That is gr...

extend shorcut possibilities (pan,zoom,hover click..)
TVPaint has awesome shortcut system I won't deny that. But it's still lacking for me as in some places it still forces you to use it a certain way. -hover click is necessary (pan, zoom) to make the process more fluid without needing to touch the canvas. Zooming and panning is less stressfull for the ...

Store layers/frames/clips in a library/Bin
This is slightly connected to my request of an overhaul to the xsheet system (along with group layers and so on) A way to remove a layer/frame/clip from a timeline, and just store it in a bin Like a library. it should not show up anywhere but in that library, ready to import it again if it would be ne...

Re: X sheet overhaul
mmmyes so it's there, perhaps, but hardly optimised.Maybe some effort should go to that. (as TVP future features are secret I cannot tell wether or not you are already doing this) So I'd still advocate what I described in my opening post, also have it work without an addon/script,because those don't r...

X sheet overhaul
I'm working on a an animation right now and I wanted to reuse some of my footage in my timing. So this should mean x-sheets right? Except that I find them so horrible to work with I opted to copy paste by hand. If a feature is that annoying there is something wrong (possibly something wrong with me ...

Re: Global and project based bins
Maybe, just maybe the TVP file format could be like the Blender (.blend) or Openraster (.ora) format? Or ,if not tvpaint,an extra format that encapsulates every asset in it's own folder for easier distribution? .blend or .ora files are effectively ARCHIVE formats. They can be browsed for their conten...

Re: Set opacity of other Layers when "Display current"
there might still be people who use it globally though,so I wouldn't throw it completely away
Putting it in the menu seems fine.

Re: Set opacity of other Layers when "Display current"
Take a better look at the LT; you have individual sliders for each frame. of course I know that ^^ but I meant that when I reduce the slider for the frame on which you draw,on the current frame, the previous and next frames visible through the lighttable get reduced as well (Global opacity change). ...

Re: Set opacity of other Layers when "Display current"
+1 also I don't know if this has been fixed with the new version but the lighttable when I reduce the opacity of the current image I would like that the next an previous image ghosts stay opaque, and don't get more transparent as well. Sometimes I need this for beter comparisons or maybe I'm doing so...

Re: lighttable in side bins
Yes,I Kinda agree.
But given that the lighttable is quite wide I wonder about the practicality
so I would suggest, why not a HORIZONTAL 'side" bin on TOP? and along side it you could place other Panels as well. that way all 4 sides have a function, and can save real estate.
