Re: TVPaint 11 keeps crashing
Also to add, for my professional work (I work in Edtech on a small team as the only animator) I’ve had to switch to a rather well known competitor for animation because of what I perceive as a lack of urgency with anything related to the Mac platform, i.e. not keeping the software compatible with ne...

Re: TVPaint 11 keeps crashing
I’m using the 11.7.1 version. 11.7.3 was pretty much unusable for any length of time. Sooooooo many crashes. I get fewer flat spots if I slow way down when drawing, but that does sorta short circuit my natural way of drawing, particularly with ellipses. Really wish the crashing would get sorted soon.

Re: TVPaint 11 keeps crashing
Hello, resetting configuration didn't help. neither line smoothing. While drawing a circle or an ellipse, it is beeing drawn not „round". Sometimes it looks correct, sometimes it looks „angular“. here is what I am talking about: I get similar flat spots in 11.7.1. I think it might be due to th...

Re: TVPaint 11 keeps crashing
I downloaded the trial to see if there was an improvement but it crashed repeatedly for me. Personally, I have started to regret purchasing this software, with it barely being usable with the crashing and prior to that the lagging because of running through Rosetta. I love the software, but the numb...

Re: TVPaint 11 keeps crashing
I'm having the same issue as well, on a Mac M1 Ultra, Sonoma, with regular crashing 11.7.2 and 11.7.3. Can't really pinpoint any action that causes the crash, I'm usually just drawing. Using a Cintiq Pro 24 with the latest drivers.

Re: TVPaint Animation 11.7.2 is available!
Just posting this in case it’s helpful for anyone, I turned off the cursor display in settings, so the cursor is just a cross hair and not a brush preview and that solved my frequent crashing problem. I’m on a Mac Studio Ultra so dunno if that will work with other platforms if you are experiencing t...

Re: TVPaint Animation 11.7.2 is available!
I’m having lots of crashes on my Mac M1 Ultra Studio, as well. I’ve deleted the configuration files multiple times. Works okay for awhile then the crashing starts all over. I’m also having issues with audio, which plays fine but I get a repeated click, pretty much every second which isn’t in the aud...

Re: Scavenger's Reign (on HBO MAX) made with TVPaint
How cool! I was very inspired by the show, even more so seeing that TVP was used in the production.

Re: Scribbly notes panel in timeline super glitchy, colourful pixelly static.
I'm having the same issue on my Mac Studio M1 Ultra, 128 gb, Ventura 13.5.1 with Wacom Cintiq Pro 24, though I have TV Paint launching in low res mode. Is there anyway to fix this or is it a bug of some sort? Also is there any word on a native ARM version of TVPAINT for Macs? Things run fine for the...

Re: macOS Monterey and TVPaint Animation 11
Thanks for the information. I understand that there are lots of moving parts with software dev and probably came across a bit harsh with my initial comment. Thanks again for your reply.

Re: macOS Monterey and TVPaint Animation 11
I'm sorry, I'm a bit ignorant of the process, but I'm struggling to understand why it was just discovered with the public release of Monterey that things didn't work? The OS has been in beta for months and was announced in June. It's not like it was a surprise update. All the apps I use from Adobe, ...

Re: Color Changing After Opening with Wacom Stylus
Sorry to bring this up again, but after updating to 11.5.3, it appears the issue has returned and none of the settings mentioned before seem to have an effect for me.

Re: Color Changing After Opening with Wacom Stylus
Just to let you know, for troubleshooting things, I discovered that neither one of those preferences were checked for me, but when I enabled 'the pen eraser is a freehand eraser' the color switching ceased and everything is working as expected. Thanks again for your help.
