Re: Video files are exporting extremely dark.
here are some settings.. it seems Avi directshow mjpeg is a good one... close to the lossless png mp4 and a bit smaller... and looks good in VLC compare export settings-halfsize.mp4 Ah, thanks! That's a very informative video. It does seem like the directshow one or the mp4 option might be best. Do...

Video files are exporting extremely dark.
Hello, hello! I'm having a strange issue! When I export my animations out as a Motion-JPEG .avi file, they appear extremely dark. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem? I've recorded the issue here so you can get frustrated alongside me: https://youtu.be/CrRqtIf199M Here are my PC deta...

Tips for speeding up inking/colouring/animating in general?
Hello all, Paul “OtaKing” Johnson here. I’ve been using TVPaint for 10 years now, and made both of these short films using the program (you might even have seen the first one around the internet someplace): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PN_CP4SuoTU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKEqID3k6RA (Sorr...

AVI output massively distorted.
Hello there. I wonder if someone could help. Whenever I select FILE > EXPORT AS and attempt to export my animation sequence as an AVI file, the result is garbled and in the wrong colours. Here's my animation: http://img808.imageshack.us/img808/7099/12226385.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.h...

Re: Newbie question - Animation output is all distorted!
Hello all,
Thanks for the assistance. I tried all of the methods suggested and none of them worked, sadly... BUT - I restarted the PC and everything was working fine again. I could save as a gif or avi with no problems. Very odd, but well.. I'm not complaining if it's working now!

Newbie graphics tablet sensitivity question!
Hello! I just started using TvPaint 9 Pro today and am loving it so far. Alas, a lot of the really advanced option aren't really needed for the way I do my animations... SO..! Is there any way of turning off the pressure sensitivity for my graphics pen when drawing in TVPaint? For my shading style, ...
