Re: Multiplane Camera Wizard - create planes from Image Library

The answer is quite obvious. as real world measurement units are meaningless in TVPaint. The unit is pixel, so all these distance values are in pixels. i checked it by creating a 200x200 project and having three layers at -220, -100 and +50 distance. a glance in the stage confirmed this as the dista...

Re: a line FX

Hello Peter, this could have many uses indeed. Could you maybe create a very simple animated example of what would be the result of using this FX on a simple drawing so we can have a more precise idea? Thank you. Yes, i''ll try to do that! It looks a lot like the essence of FX Stack> Rendering > Ro...

a line FX

I posted this idea in the off topic thread, but as i think it may offer some quite powerfull new possibilities for doing keyframe animation i though it warranted a separate request post. I would like to see this, what do you think?: - a new effect... a line FX, which would allow you to animate a sim...

Re: Dear community, help me understand this upgrade?

-FXStack FXs : -keyframer, separation of x,y,z axis for the speed profile _____ the keyframer can be hard to control, it would be nice to have some more control in tvp instead of always having to go over to other software for this. . . And this idea, which would offer some quite powerfull new possib...

Re: Dear community, help me understand this upgrade?

Did... did you just post the exact same message as you did in July? Why? Hi Thierry yes this was a mistake I thought of two more items to this list while teaching at HKU, which i thought might be usefull to add to this list. small (unspectacular) and maybe relatively simple to realise additions tha...

Re: Dear community, help me understand this upgrade?

I really hope so. It would be wonderful to see some significant improvement of the established tools in TVPaint such as the KeyFramer, the Multiplane Camera, updating and expanding the Particle FX , and outside of the FX Stack the Warp Tool. The Warp Tool , in particular , seems to me as if it was ...

Re: Animation export format MP4 is missing

That sounds hopefull... But how is it possible it is now missing in my current v11?
Does TVPaint create this list of Animation formats based on your current system... but then why do i have mp4 available in v12!?
does it have to do with the install? i'm puzzled

Re: Tvpaint 12 floating menus & cintiq pen problem

What is the status of this? This is a pressing issue for me. Because it is not possible to use v12 over more than one monitor when you have a dual monitor setup. Has there been any progress? 1) one issue is that the cursor will jump to the other monitor unexpectedly if you hover over some areas wher...

weird bug v12: dropdown menu only works on the left half of my second monitor?

the weirdest bug. I noticed i could not activate the pull down menu to load a file, the "file" button in the top menu did not respond. but the "help" button did. when i shifted the main tvpaint interface to the right side, more of the panel buttons became active/clickable. i had ...

Re: Anti Alias on Custombrush is broken in v12

Is this perhaps related. and something that maybe can be fixed? When i load a custompanel some of the tools produce lines that look very different in v12. V11-V12 DIFFFERNCE IN TOOLS.jpg peter custom brush.jpg peter custom brush.tvpx btw the line switches sometimes from the intended thin one, to the...
