CTG won't color your animation on the basis of a first frame.

i also used to stretch out the panel over multiple monitors before and that certainly has its drawbacks.
I'll try your suggestions.

TVPaint v12.02 will not show the LT panel when i click on the LT button in the menu bar. i click repeatedly to see if i see it flashing on/of somewhere.... but nothing, it must be hidden somewhere? i know that i probably should reset the config again. but could this please be fixed? so that a hidden...

it seems Avi directshow mjpeg is a good one... close to the lossless png mp4 and a bit smaller...
and looks good in VLC

This has to be the avi codec.
did you try other settings ?
like AVI directshow? or anothermode with the AVI(internal)?

I usually have good results with the MP4 format.

Another save bet would be to export as png sequence and export that from a NLE
