Re: Lost my dongle. Can I buy a new one?
I had mine stolen from a hotel room 2 years ago. Needless to say I have spent thousands on new software but in principal will not buy a new licences for tvp (even though it is the best solution for many jobs) I find it amusing how few people have heard or bought tvp especially compared to zbrush ( I...

Re: Tutorials
G'day ! Does anyone know a good tutorial for pixel tracking, I am compositing a two elements in TVP/mirage, hand held video and motion tracked animation from maya which worked pretty well considering the video I had. Unfortunately there a little wobble here and there, so I thought TVP's tracking wou...

Re: Mirage owner status?
Thanks for your reply radams6, some well presented points there, though I think my logic is OK. Not to defend myself, more to set reset the tone, I'd like to say, just because I am not agreeing with the company line, it doesn't mean I am red faced and ranting. :) radams6: it isn't necessary t...

Re: Mirage owner status?
We have to turn the Mirage page and go forward. Nice catchphrase, if it sounds good, does it need to have any meaning? Funny though, TVpaint was almost invisible on the net when I bought mirage, marketing wasn't trying very hard then otherwise us folk who bought mirage a couple of years ago would h...

Re: scanner use on Mirage
You shouldn't eat cake all the time Paul, anyway I was talking about upgrades not initial purchase BTW. Just as an aside, my twin brother has been working in the states for some time , work took me there briefly too. I noticed the pay rate was much more than double than in Australia and always on ti...

Re: scanner use on Mirage
I mean a working professional, a licence cost is peanuts, (as you will get back the money investment at your first job done), I so wish that was true, but I work in Australia, where creative professionals are considered breakfast for producers and accountants and our entertainment industry is a dis...

Re: Mirage owner status?
thousands of users seem to stay loyal to Adobe even though Photoshop CS4 is released 1 year only after CS3 was released, and its upgrade tag is €480, and its full purchase tag €1500 (in France) Ahhh so that makes it OK. I guess that's why Photoshop is THE most pirated software on the planet, so tha...

Re: scanner use on Mirage
Mirage is very good for using scanned images- it has special clean up tools as well.
Though just tracing over the scans with the ol' wacom would probably be the best option.
Hey Slowtiger! fancy seeing you here- it's me.... you know... I'm in disguise....shhh.
Seeya back at lost marble.

Re: Mirage owner status?
Hi TV paint and mirage users, This post is actually more directed at the management and marketing team. I am not trying to just be a troll or abusive- this is a genuine grievance, I just can't help being a little sarcastic. Thanks for the Christmas special offer  Tell you what, why don't ...
