Re: Experimenting with black and white and paper textures
That was great, I really like the lighting when the door opened. Makes me want to experiment with lighting in animation.

Terry Wu's Animation exercises UPDATED 26 Mar 2009
Hi guys I have just finished some more animation exercises. They are not the best and I shalln't be going back to tweak them because I am now working on my major project. However, it would be great to get some feedback so I could carry these suggestions forward. Does anyone have any technique or sug...

Re: Assign PAN, ROTATE or ZOOM to wacom pen button?
Thank you so much to everyone who replied and a special thank you to malcooning. After a little investigation from malcooning suggestion I have succesfully assign the crtl and alt keys to the buttons on the side. I know it's only a small issue but it helps me immensely...wahoo :D ZigOtto: I have wac...

Re: Assign PAN, ROTATE or ZOOM to wacom pen button?
I seem to be able to assign CTRL + ALT to my Intuos3 modifier button and use it to rotate the project worktop. EDIT: ah, sorry, didn't notice you was using a tablet and tablet control panel. In this case the limitation is in the Wacom driver, I believe. Because you are assigning one switch to a mod...

Re: Assign PAN, ROTATE or ZOOM to wacom pen button?
Yes I have erase assigned to the lower button and the light table assigned to the upper toggle. You have to first assign those commands to a keystroke in edit\preferences\configuration...then in the Wacom control panel you assign the buttons to those keystrokes. Hi Sierra, thanks for the reply. I p...

Re: WIP - Terry Wu's Animation exercises
I was interested in seeing what the character would do next, which is probably the most important thing (I'm talking about the first exercise). There are parts, like the one where he reaches into the paper bag, where the body is perfectly still. Generally, you want to put the whole body into every ...

Re: WIP - Terry Wu's Animation exercises
Ooops! So much for my presumptuousness... you're on your way then and you'll make it. I like your gentleness and that you understand human body language. I would have done the careful walk differently though, using small, hesitant steps and a couple of steps with the kid looking around during the p...

Re: WIP - Terry Wu's Animation exercises
Hi Paul thank you for your feedback I really appreciate it. The creeping along to the garbage can is actually my idea but I didn't know it was such a cliche  . I'll taking it into account next time to not do cliches and and try to make my own ideas a bit more original. The teacher only gave us...

Help! Turn singles frames to instances of 2 or more?
Hi TVP user, I've been using TVP standard for about 2 weeks and so far I find it a fantastic software. I'd like to find if it is possible to turn all single frames within an animate layer to intances of 2 per frame and vice versa (eg from instances of 3 to 1s)? I have check the manuals and did a sea...
