Re: Adapt the brush preview to match the blending mode
What can I say? The preview set to BEHIND should show BEHIND. ( I can not reproduce an example because the brush is holding the cut/copy selection. but I need my mouse to to make the snip) BEHIND should preview BEHIND.. It has been this way since the beginning of TVPaint years ago. This bug happened...

Re: Adapt the brush preview to match the blending mode
Okay. Remember when Peter and I had you fix he the cut/copy- stamp brush. ? You could NOT see what you cut on the brush until you stamped it. One could not see where to place the "stamp". That got fixed. Now in the same Brush panel if you change the action from color to BEHIND the "st...

Re: Adapt the brush preview to match the blending mode
Hi Peter the cut/ copy brush has worked in the BEHIND selection since the beginning of TVP. Remember when Xavier tweaked the cut/copy brush so when you picked it up ..you couldn't see it until it was stamped?. This is similar and not too complicated. ) This time you pick it up and you see it above t...

Adapt the brush preview to match the blending mode
The old bug with picking up a brush made the brush invisible until you blindly pasted. That was fixed .
Now I have noticed that the cut/ copy brush set to BEHIND function is only visible over/above the image until stamped.

Re: impressive watercolor simulator
I am impressed.. I have never used Photoshop. Have only used TVP as my digital painting program for many years now. I have adjusted my brushes ,erasers, pencils and layers to get as close an effect as I can but without the water. Sorry to say that I have never put to use the many effects in TVP beca...

Re: TVPaint Animation 11 : ask all your questions here !
( though i still think a way to import and export a library would be nice). I totally Agree> I wish I could name the library and export into a collection folder... (detach it from the project > as PicturePalette was a Bin file). That way I can store color reference libraries. But now I will just ex...

Re: TVPaint Animation 11 : ask all your questions here !
The Library is embedded in the project, which is a wonderful concept and stays in view when you switch between clips, which PP could not do.. Really? My PPalettes stays where they are while I can swith between clips and projects the whole time. I think it would be nice to have something like a glob...

Re: problem with palette sliders
I use slider almost exclusively and have never had this problem.
just checked if disabling Wintab in prefrences has any effect ..and nothing.
Curious that you have always had this situation and even need to use LMB or RMB.
Sorry

Re: Missing handles!
The software (TVP) has also developed from a much simpler work space. Early on we didn't have handles on the anim frame = instance didn't exist. Back then a static layer was much easier for a background painter to deal with when making so many layers and one could jump in at any point in the timelin...

Re: Missing handles!
think of an anim layer as a pinball machine >>> an image layer (static layer) as a picture of a pinball machine Anims move and for moving drawings >> image ( static ) is one picture for ever and ever on the time line. CAN NOT BE BROKEN or any other image brought in to that layer. Don't worry ... be :D
