Re: Rehosting your dongleless license
Hi, I have some similar issue: i rehosted, deactivated the license on my old mac monterey, activated on my new mac ventura, which went without a problem. But unfortunately on the new mac tvpaint won’t start: ‘out of cmDongle expiration time’. codemeter tells me it is running on the new mac but I don...

Strange Brushes spacing issue
Hi all, I hadn't been using TV paint for a couple of months , and I did update Monterey to 12.4 recently, so I don't know if that's creating the issue, but all my brushes are acting weird: when I draw slowly it sort of seems ok, but if I draw fast I get a series of dots, and the faster I draw the fu...

Re: Export looped clip
Nice! Simple but it works and it takes away the hassle of calculating where the mark out should be

Re: Export looped clip
On a side note: you cannot set a CT layer to loop, so you need to convert (a duplicate) to anim first, but that is a small price to pay...

Re: Export looped clip
wel... eh... and oops...
Found out that it is actually soooooo easy, and I knów I tried it before but I must have made a mistake then, because (and here it comes):
- set all layers to loop
- set outpoint to some frame in the future

Re: Any tips on a good workflow setup?
Thanks again for your help, slowtiger, So basically, to sum up: 0. Get a decent video editor :) 1. Make sure the storyboard fits exactly to the soundtrack, 2. Then split up with lead-in and lead-out frames - what would happen there? Split up the soundtrack as well for reference? - would need to find...

Any tips on a good workflow setup?
Hi all, I’m getting ready to do my first real project in TVPaint: a short 3 minute) videoclip to a song. So I have this audiotrack that I need to time against.I was thinking that storyboarding the whole thing in one file would be possible. But after that I don’t really know. Seems very complex to ha...

Export a looped animation (like ‘repeat 5x’)
Hi TVPaint team, I find I really miss the possibility to export a looped clip - for instance have a walking cycle repeat a couple of times in a .mov file. I was thinking maybe something like ‘repeat <number>‘ in the export window? I asked for help on this but it looks like nobody knows of a really e...

Re: IMAGE GUIDE LAG
I have that same issue and I found a thread on thes forums somewhere that said to go tvpaint app | get info | check 'open in low resolution'. This is supposed to disable retina - which for me at least made it more or less workable for now

Re: Export looped clip
Getting back to this - I find myself exporting loops all the time, to play on (and send from) my iphone, meaning I have to (temporary) adapt my projects every time just for that. So for me it would be great to have a feature like 'repeat <number>' in the export window... Or is that a nonsense featur...

Re: Guideline, timeline notes, etc - causing slow pen performance.
Hi,
I can confirm that this is still an (even worse) issue for me in version 11.09.
Running TVPaint in low-res solves it for now though. Anyone know of any reason not to run TVPaint in low-res?
