Re: Fill doesn't work
Oh, I shouldn't be angry. No. I should just live with it.

Re: Fill doesn't work
Very interesting. Let's see. I paid for the Mirage program and under that old system the help that I received then didn't resolve the issue with the backgrounds - and now the people here aren't able to resolve a resolution to another problem (so that's two), TVPaint won't allow discounts for upgrade...

Re: Fill doesn't work
Don't let the door hit your butt when you go. This reminds of a restaurant that I had worked at one time. The restaurant was losing customers at a rapid rate, and then one day it had to close. Over time I asked people as to what they had thought about the restaurant and they gave me their opinions....

Re: Fill doesn't work
Yea. Upgrading to TVpaint would cost a fortune. I'm looking at ToonBoom as a reasonable alternative. It is better documented, I think, with 150 + tutorials on their ToonBoom site at Youtube, whereas TVPaint only has 8 uploads because they don't care. And apparently there's nobody here to help me out...

Re: Fill doesn't work
Looking at my Mirage 1.5
I see the box that says, in this order,
Filling shape
Color/Behind/Erase/Panto, etc.
Smooth
Opacity
Aaliasing
Gradient
Brush wrapping
With Stretch
Height Stretch
Opacity Mapping
This is all that's in this box. Hmmmm.

Re: Fill doesn't work
I just tested it with one layer -- set to Front or Back, the color spills over the entire frame; set to Display or Layer, the color fills inside of a connected line (a full circle). I also have the top most window set to Color and the Fill window set to Color & Density. I haven't a clue as to h...

Re: Fill doesn't work
What is your source set to? There are four different ways; Front means the spill will happen on the layer above; Back, on the layer below; the other two are self explanatory. This even happens if there is only one layer. So I'm not sure how this works. I don't even know how to set the front or the ...

Fill doesn't work
I don't know how this happened, but this is what happens. I will draw a circle and use the paint bucket to fill the circle and the paint just fills the entire page. It won't stay in the circle. I then use the square or circle drawer and the same thing happens. No matter what I do the drawing doesn't...

It doesn't always drop frames, just sometimes.

Re: Playback on youtube may be choppy
Thanks Paul. You just gave me some inspiration on how to improve the video. I agree with you that the animation does nag on me when you see elements reoccur and people want to see new things.

Re: Playback on youtube may be choppy
Hi Paul, I agree with you in a way, that it has a lot of repeatable features, just like those Sat morning cartoons. This is just done to support the repeating nature of songs - like waves on a beach.

Re: Playback on youtube may be choppy
It is. In fact it just started getting choppy after I posted the link. Somehow, it seems that my open to link setting was changed to private and prevented you from viewing the video as well. I can't stand looking at my video now, it's just way to choppy and omitting up to half the frames there. It m...

Playback on youtube may be choppy
I tried to view my Wabbit Wainger video and Youtube is putting out choppy. Like every one and a half second it skips. So I hope that's not hurting the integrity of my video or making it to look like no inbetweens.

Re: Go Go Wabbit Wainger
I can't agree with you that your project is almost complete and all that it needs is a few touch ups; it needs lots of in betweens. If you can draw the key poses, you can draw the inbetweens, can't you? I haven't learned all that as of yet. I found if I put too many drawings it looks robotic or too...
