idragosani's drawings
Some caricatures I did this past week (3 are "civilians", one is a celebrity), using Mirage. I recently got a Wacom 9x12 Intuos3 to replace my old Graphire4 4x6 and it has made the world of difference with my digital drawing: I've moved from a drawing area the size of a photograph to a dra...

Re: Mirage Tutorials, Downloads and Plugins
With the sale of Mirage to TVPaint, I trust all the ancillary items came along as well. Where can I find their new home? I'm especially looking for the stop-motion plugin and the tutorials. In addition to the Canon plugin, you can also use TVPaint with WDM drivers to do frame capturing from USB or ...

Paul - I stopped by the Tulip site and watched the animations - BRILLIANT work. Please say Hello to Sandra too. Hi to Sierra Rose, Slow Tiger, Klaus, go...

Re: The New home
The equivalent of Blue Pencil case is in the TVP Sketch Panel (it's actually a Blue and Red pencil case, so you can choose either blue or red as the underdrawing) Same functions as in Blue Pencil Case to erase all blue/erase all red or to turn all lines blue/turn all lines red. Also , when I first ...

Re: Dongle?
You keep the same one and everything is done over the net. You give them the lock code you'll find in the help/about panel of your Mirage; you give them the unlock code from your Mirage dongle, after which you will in short time get the new one and a link from where to download your TVPA. When open...

Dongle?
So, after upgrading to TVPaint Pro from Mirage, is a new dongle required or do I use the same Sentinel dongle that I have used with Mirage? If a new one is required, how long does it take to get the new one?

Re: The New home
A week ago mine cost me $ 607. Our dollar is gaining strength -- maybe it's because Obama has the nomination in his pocket ( :D ) Oh ? Well, I suppose I had not had any reason to check the currency conversion rates lately , so $587 USD compared to 380 Euro seemed high to me , but it's actually gett...

It wasn't a complete surprise, as there were hints and rumors that something was about to happen. But at least a note from the president would have been the professional thing to do. I am sure Steve's hands were tied and there was nothing he could do. Best thing we can do now is move forward. We're ...

Nope. You can even have both running at the same time. You can't save anything from it though but you can import any of your existing Mirage projects and fool around with them without fear because it can't get saved even by mistake. Yep, it all seems pretty familiar, for the most part. Apparently I...
