Re: idragosani's drawings
Canadian outfit. I'll be darn; so these things do work I guess. Thanks. It's a correspondence course -- you watch videos every week, submit artwork for an assignment, and then teacher records a video of himself critiquing your submission, going over it on a Wacom tablet. Pretty nifty, and better th...

Re: idragosani's drawings
I've never seen you draw anything even close to this. What a jump! How about letting us see what you do with a complete figure. I've been taking some classes, including one on character design for animation. These pics are from a course in caricature. More stuff to come! I have some designs I am do...

Beers all around! Congratulations! I am using TVP Pro now for a course in caricature I am taking... I am sure everyone else is using PhotoShop. TVP has everything I need and I find it much more intuitive.

Re: Yet another orphan......
Hello from yet another orphan. Looks like I'm going to be orphaned a bit longer though, as it looks from other posts that upgrading is going to set me back around 700+ USD.... OUCH. Welcome, fellow orphan! I just did the upgrade from Mirage and it was quite a bit less than $700. It's worth it, thou...

Re: Suggestions for Touch Bar and Buttons set up on Intuos 3
Hmmm--- I have failed to get Shuttle Pro 2 to interact with TVP so far. It always worked with Mirage. Are you two actually working with it in TVP? I am not using Shuttle Pro, but Shuttle Xpress, but got it work in TVP with no problem. Basically, I duplicated my Mirage config, pointed it to the TVP ...

Re: Digital restoration of old animation
... Is there a tool in TVPaint that is analogous to the Paper Tool in Animator Toolbar for cleaning up scanned images? That might be a start.... yeap, its name is ScanCleaner and is now located in the FX-stack. you will have to tweak the curve so you'll erase the paper background, but keep (as much...

Digital restoration of old animation
I've had an interesting project drop into my lap... I have about 4 minutes of some old line art animation from the 70s that only exists on VHS that needs to be cleaned up and made pretty. The original animation was drawn with pencil on paper, but in the video it has a yellowish tinge to it... it has...

I didn't even realize when I downloaded my upgrade last night that it was 8.6.0... very cool. Would be nice to know what's in it that distinguishes it from 8.5

Multiplane camera
Wow, I just discovered the multi-plane camera effect... this is an amazing tool, I haven't seen anything like it for 2D except in Anime Studio Pro, but this is a bit more sophisiticated... I am glad I upgraded! I should point out that the manual has an error, though -- it says the multi-plane camera...
