Here's another tree android apps with stylus calibration buildt within, to add to the list;
Clover Paint
Artflow Studio
Ibis paint X.
Hope to convince the developers to add one for tvpaint's android version.
Shouldn't be that hard but would be real essential to many users.
Best regards hjw

Re: Android tablet pen callibration
There is no calibration tool for Android in the software. The calibration is made independently, depending on which hardware you use (Wacom tablets or others). And that makes sense on win and iOS with external hardware and their drivers. But not on phones and tablets running android. And once more ...

Re: Anyone tested TVpaint on a Chromebook?
I don't know how much memory the S3 got. But that should be your only limitation 😀. When I first installed tvpaint it was cluttered with all the menu's of the interface. When I figured out to set the UI scale to 1 it changed everything. I guess you know this already. Else do it!!! But do you experie...

Pen offset. Calibration
Here's a question - would it be possible to make a script controlling the offset of the cursor. As there's no way to calibrate you pen when running android. No driver and no support in the OS. I tried to make an offset on a custom brush but it for some reason just scaled up the stamp. Anyone got a h...

Re: Android tablet pen callibration
Thanks for the response
There's not an option for calibration on tablets running android in the OS.
That's why the serious drawing apps are building it into their software.
I hope to see that in tv-paint too!!
Please - it would make a huge difference.

Android tablet pen callibration
I use a 10" simbans picasso tab with stylus running android. Most painting apps I've installed have an option to calibrate the pen. And getting rid of a possible offset. I can't seem to find such an option in tvpaint. In HD resolution I've got an offset 7,-3 pixels hiding it under the pen - mos...

Epson GT-30000 drumscan
I don't know how you would work it from TP
But OpenToons has a quite specialized interface for bulk scanning.
I would use OT for scanning and then export for TP.
But only because I know this works.

Re: Zoom limitation for sanity
I use the zoom all the time because of a offset problem with my stylus. It's impossible to hit the mark of my drawing in 100% and a lot easier if at 300%. I think it could be nice to be able to flip between two zoom levels with volume up on my android device.

Re: Tablet list for TVpaint android
Simbans picasso tab 10" comes with pressure sensitive stylus for only 200$. Since I changed the UI scale to "1" it stopped crashing all the time, but there is a slight anoyiyng offset on the stylus, that I don't know how to fix, in tvpaint.

Re: Anyone tested TVpaint on a Chromebook?
I'm really happy with my android picasso tab. 10" with stylus only 200 $ - except that I can't find an option for calibrating the stylus offset in tvpaint. Almost all other painting apps comes with solutions to overcome this problem. tvpaint is by far the most powerful animation tool running on...
