Re: TV Paint 11.7 Crashing computer
Update: Figured out what was causing the crashes for me: TVPaint 11.7.1 crashes whenever RIGHT CLICK is used as eraser mode AND Line Smoothing is Activated with TYPE set to Average Points . The crash occurs when using a Wacom Stylus (pen button set to "RIGHT CLICK") or when using a MOUSE....

Tvpaint 11.7.1 crashes when I grab current tool with texture
Running TVPaint 11.7.1 STD Pro on Linux Manjaro KDE (this behavior did not occur in previous versions on the same system). Recently noticed that TVPaint crashes every time I use 'grab current tool' (with or without color), when it is a custom textured brush. Specific example would be Azi Brush, it h...

Re: Set layer length for loops automatically
You can add an action to your panels, then set the action to use George script and paste the above script into it.
When you press the button the script will be executed.

Set layer length for loops automatically
I recently updated this script and wanted to share it here. This will set markin and markout for you depending on how many loops you want and sets the layers to loop. It should take into account if the animation does not start on the first frame of your selected layer. You just need to manually expo...

Re: how fast do you colour?
I can give some tips from my experience that may save time/backtracking/frustration: -Use your final cleaned up animation. -Make sure beforehand that all gaps are closed. You can also just add another animation layer to add lines to close gaps, add those to your CTG source. It's annoying to have to ...

Delay with Jogwheel/Mousewheel in combination with Wacom and TVpaint
This is something I noticed back when I was using TVpaint 11 on my Macbook Air with an Intuos tablet a few years ago. When I witched between the pen to draw and the touchwheel to flip there was a delay before TVpaint reacted. The touchwheel I assume functioned as a mousewheel, after lifting the pen ...

Re: Getting Thumbnailer to work in Linux Manjaro KDE
I also found someone with a similar problem. It looks like Dolphin or KDE require a specific plugin.

Re: Getting Thumbnailer to work in Linux Manjaro KDE
Hi, using the command: xdg-mime query default application/tvp-project gives me: tvp-animation-11.5-pro.desktop I assume that should be the correct value. The KDE-thumbnail packages are all installed, Dolphin generates thumbnails for all other image formats. I tried installing a different file manage...

Re: Getting Thumbnailer to work in Linux Manjaro KDE
Thank you for the suggestion. The MIME types are already made as far as I can tell and filled with a wide variety of associations. Would any specific MIME types need to be included in the .thumbnailer and .desktop files? I don't know what internal file types are used to store the frames, if that is ...

Getting Thumbnailer to work in Linux Manjaro KDE
Hi, I'm trying to get TVPaint's thumbnailer to work in Linux Manjaro KDE so that thumbnails display in Dolphin. If someone more knowledgeable could help if something's missing or say if it's impossible to implement, that would be great. I tried looking at similar configuration files and adjusted pat...

Re: webm Alpha Channel not working
Please, at first provide your informations . Because it's not only a matter of codec specification, but also of operating system and decoder. Which player do you use to verify the video transparency ? not all players do support it well. I am using: Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version...
