Re: Project Counter
Other then the novelty of knowing how long you've worked on something for, what I would find useful about it would be for future planning. I don't sit down and animate every day for a set period of time. Sometimes I work for a long while, other times just an hour or so. Then if after several weeks I...

Project Counter
Really this is a pretty silly and pointless feature, but it would be a neat little addition. Track how long a file is open for, and remember it. A counter that will tell you how long you've worked on a project for, over a length of time. That way if you work on a large project for a long time you ca...

Re: TVPaint kind of freezes when I import footage
Okay, I downloaded and installed it, but the properties in TVPaint still list it as being the older (8.5.10) version. Does that not change?

TVPaint kind of freezes when I import footage
When I import footage' (mostly when I insert an image made in another program as a background) TVpaint just kind of does nothing. The image appears as it should, but then the program won't do anything else. I can minimize and resize it, and it seems like if I wait around for a really long time (like...

Re: How well does TVpaint work with XP 64-bit?
I remember you saying somewhere that TVPaint is a 32 bit program, and thus I wouldn't expect it to take advantage of pluses of a 64 bit system. It can though use up to 3.5 gigs of memory, which is where 64 bit could help me here. While TVP using the advantages of 64 bit architecture would be great, ...

How well does TVpaint work with XP 64-bit?
Have a mid-power computer that I used to use only for animating, but it got turned into my standard computer and because of that doesn't run the larger animations as well as it used to. My solution is to have two hard drives, two instances of windows, and just switch between them. Since I won't be d...

Nice that you made an effort though, good luck with the next demo. I asked around my school but it's mostly 3d so I didn't have any luck. I believe one of the Professors talked with TVPaint about possibly getting it for the school at some point, but that doesn't help us out too much right now. So co...

Yea, I'd noticed that sometime ago, it's a linking error. It's pretty easy to fix though if you look at the file name. They both link to the order form for the standard edition OrderFormTVPA.pdf. Just open that and change it to OrderFormTVPAP.pdf (add a 'P' at the end). I find it easier to just look...

Nope, Canada actually makes it easier because it all has to be sent to one place. My being in the US means that that it's cheaper for me to send you your dongle and CD. To prove your student status you would either need to scan/fax your student ID, or a letter from your school saying you're a studen...

No missing features, no restrictions. It's just like a full version, you just need to be a student to get it. The only difference is the CD. We get 5 dongles and one CD, which we're allowed to make 4 more copies of, so the CD you get will be a burned version. It will still be 100% legal and a full v...
