Re: Brush Warping
Because I'm using Edit Brush for this and I forgot to mention it... You're right, modifying the angle or other options available in the Tool: Custom Brush panel does affect the strokes but not the "filled shapes" at all, I never realized that! It should have a reason that prevents this but...

Brush Warping
Suggestion to be able to do this for any filled shaped on the fly. Keyframer FX can be used for this but it needs a bit of workaround and several steps to achieve the same result to fill shapes of any kind. ------ Pic1: When you fill a rectangle using brush warping (tile option on both X+Y) brushwar...

Re: Pixelated edges around files such as PNGs or TGAs
I tried to export to Premultiply too to spot differences, but it always makes the edges worse like an intentional outline, so NoPremultiply is rather a better choice to export (for me). To be honest, even if I don't spot differences, I wonder if the choice of the background " None, Color or Che...

Pixelated edges around files such as PNGs or TGAs
Hi there, it's an old topic about undesirable pixels around PNGs + alpha that may happens sometimes when loading files outside TVPaint. In TVP, I'm used to export 32bits PNGs with No PreMultiply and I've been quite lucky so far. But when I import my files into a tool using a game engine, depending h...

Re: Use of PNGs in After Effects
Very wise to write it down, it's quite easy to mix up "file size" compression and "picture aspect" compression (leading to artefacts such as .JPGs). At one point I know developers rather did use uncompressed TGAs vs PNGs because it was quicker to handle, memory-wise (but assets p...

Re: Use of PNGs in After Effects
For PNGs in TVP, you can choose a compression ratio from 1 to 10 (5 by default I guess): the picture will be always lossless but the file size will be different (and it will impact a lot when decompressing for memory/cpu). Does the guy say at one point what kind of compression he uses for PNGs? I do...

Re: Current layer more visible
I think it's way easier to use the Layer Attenuation straight from the Display Settings panel (top menu: Windows>Show>Display Settings)

Re: Copy and Paste images from Image Library
To be able to paste straight from clipboard would be nice too.
Of course, the instinctive way to use Library would be to click and drag pictures into projects

Re: switch to next project
I don't remember if it's the keyboard shortcuts by default, but I use this :
- "Tab" for switching between projects opened in TVP
- "Shift + Tab" for switching between project/clips in the timeline

Re: Option to EXPORT ALL FX in the FX Bin
I think too that FX stack is well underestimated, even years after, you always discover a new way to use a FX! Even if it may not be that easy to handle for new users, I think one reason people tends to use other softwares for FX, is about the "destructive" actions (a non-issue IMO). You d...

Re: Option to EXPORT ALL FX in the FX Bin
So the file named bin.bin inside the filterstack folder is ALL the FX that have been saved into each of the FX Bins in a particular configuration of TVPaint ? Yes it seems to work like this as far I know. I just tried to copy and paste a couple of 'xxxx.bin' in the config folder and there are not a...

Re: Option to EXPORT ALL FX in the FX Bin
(..) it takes a considerable amount of time to export each of the 100 FX one at a time. The option to Export ALL FX in the FX Bin would be extremely useful. You know you could do that by opening the TVP config folder ...\default\filterstack\ , right? That's true the FX bin men u is asking for an &q...

Re: Panning Tool Improvement
I found an old full size keyboard with the number pad, but when I try ctrl+pad 2/4/6/8 for down, left, right & up it does not do anything. Maybe this is a Windows-only thing ? I also tried cmd+pad 2/4/6/8 , but that did not work. EDIT: using Cmd+pad numbers 2/4/6/8 for down, left, right,up does w...
