Re: a line FX
It looks a lot like the essence of FX Stack> Rendering > RoboTracking where you can animate splines via keyframes? Even if this one is still a bit obscure to me, Peter suggestions would be nice for an advanced solution for applying those parameters "where we want". It's a shame that the FX...

Re: Strange artifacts appearing in TVPaint 12
I can reproduce with all tools using Panto, it needs to have a panel close by and artifacts happen when the main cursor bumps into it!

Re: TVpaint 2.0 (Amiga)
Not sure if it was about the Amiga version, but if I remember well, one of the oldest version of TVPaint was available to download at some point.
Since it was years ago, you could try https://web.archive.org/ ?

ESC key doing a proper job :]
Suggestion is in the title: for instance, if you bring back the FX stack panel and you already have one heavy cpu-wise FX (using huge custom brush, etc...), you won't be able to stop the preview/task at all

Re: Turbulence displacement
I quickly tried using Brush Spreading FX, although it works nice for adding pixels around plain shapes of any kind, it's not easy to get a clean result when applied to ink lines.
So there's maybe another lead to follow with the help of other FX in order to erode and to blur in a second step?

Re: where is the lighttable panel?
Did you look at the config.ini?
As a last resort (before using a new config), you can look for the settings of the panels and the coordinates are in this format -> winx=xxx and winy=xxx
Don't forget to close TVPaint before doing this.

Keyboard shortcut suggestion
In the keyboard shortcuts , Layer folder, there are the ones for each blending mode but I didn't find a way to choose the previous/next blending mode :?: It would be very convenient to be able to scroll through this way, to see the result at a glance. Also there are a couple of "Basculer entre ...

Re: Exact Positioning of a Custom Panel in ROOM
It looks like you can read the coordinates in the config.ini
Don't search using the name of the custom panel BUT its "id" where are the winx=xxx and winy=xxx

Re: Tool Selection
Thanks to your detailed explanation, I found out why where was maybe a bit of a misunderstanding. If I follow the steps you wrote not using a shortcut (for copy to custombrush for instance), it won't grab the display, layer only. Using a shortcut it does work! It makes no sense  That means it...

Re: Tool Selection
Hi Max, maybe I am misunderstanding, but regarding cut/copythe brush, isn't that what the "Display" option already does if you have it toggled? Yes, that is my point, to have the same option for the selection :D When the stencil is on, you know/see what you are grabbing, it is accurate wh...

Re: Tool Selection
Yes, each FX can be applied on all layers at once within a selection indeed. But outside the FX Stack? In the case you make a selection and want to copy/cut to brush the whole display, you can't. You have to crop to a new project then you will be able to make the brush. About the "Erase tool&qu...

Tool Selection
suggestion for Tool: Select:
It would be nice to have a "display" option to check, this way we could do the actions for the display, instead of the current layer only.
